Supervision & Consultation

Rooted in Wholeness

Whether you're building toward licensure or deepening an established practice, supervision and consultation with me is an invitation to bring your whole self into your work. This is a space where your health and wellbeing, your lived experience, your body and spirit wisdom, your cultural and spiritual lineage, your ancestral history, and the traditional and alternative healing practices that have shaped you as a human being and a practitioner are essential to your work.

Our work is grounded in Somatic, Nature-Based, Expressive Arts, Community, and Transpersonal approaches and in the ongoing, imperative work of decolonizing what therapy and healing can look like and offer.

I especially welcome queer, BIPOC, neurodivergent practitioners whose full identities and ways of knowing have been minimized, disregarded, suppressed, or pathologized in conventional therapy education, supervision, and practice. Your inherent wisdom, intuition, presence, voice, and identity are integral to this work.

Supervision

  • Individual or group supervision for Professional Counselor Associates and Marriage and Family Therapist Associates seeking licensure in Oregon; Graduate Interns needing external supervision

  • Centering your authentic voice, identity, and lived experience as a foundation of therapeutic skill-building

  • Unique opportunity to experience, learn, and understand anti-oppressive lenses of Somatic, Nature-Based, Expressive Arts, Community, and Transpersonal approaches within supervision and integrate into your therapy practice

  • Our work is relational, collaborative and contemplative, we attune to the quality of presence, process, meaning making, subtleties, and relational dynamics, and we weave our intuition, wisdom, and experience together.

  • Our work recognizes that learning, growth, and healing is collective and communal rather than an individual and isolated process and that my own learning and unlearning as a supervisor are ongoing.

  • Our work intends to support liberation and decolonization of supervision, therapy, and healing. Cultural humility, power, intersectionality, context, and marginalized ways of knowing and healing are an essential part of the work.

  • Affirming of neurodivergent, queer, BIPOC, disability, and other perspectives of knowing and healing.

  • I am deeply invested in your health and wellbeing, wholeness, and your growth as a human being and a practitioner.

*My positionality as an Oregon approved supervisor means that I am aware of the tension between my deep commitment to a relational, liberatory, and collaborative supervisory relationship while I am also a representative of institutional power with evaluative, gatekeeping, ethical, and legal obligations that are consequential for your licensure. My commitment is to hold that positionality with conscious transparency, genuine care, humility, and ongoing willingness to examine how it shapes our work together.

  • Our work recognizes that learning, growth, and healing is collective and communal rather than an individual and isolated process and that my own learning and unlearning in consultatation are ongoing.

Why work with me?

As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon for over 15 years, the breadth of my background—emergency and wilderness medicine, nutrition, exercise, complementary and alternative wellness, energy psychology, ecopsychology, adventure therapy, expressive arts, somatics, yoga, psychedelics, and transpersonal psychology—is woven into my work from the perspective of what offers healing potential and what limits it. I didn’t set out to collect of these trainings, these experiences called out to me on my healing journey and new experiences continue to draw me deeper into the healing tapestry of life.

I have been drawn toward healing, consciousness, and evolution from an early age in my life. Through my own healing journey with trauma and chronic, invisible illness and the ongoing unfolding of my queer and neurodivergent identity I have been guided to explore the kind of healing that moves through body, spirit, consciousness, land, community, and interconnectivity beyond the boundaries of conventional medicine.

My cross-disciplinary background means I can meet you and your clients in a territory that many supervisors and consultants cannot: body diversity, chronic and terminal illness, disability, and somatic wisdom, relationships with plant and chemical medicines, altered states, and harm reduction, food and body sovereignty, spiritual emergence, and the systemic, cultural, and historical roots of trauma, depression, and anxiety.
